'Power Of Love'- definite food for thought :) and quite difficult to answer!!!! I feel that most often there is a conflict between our concepts and what we actually go through. For example, while I would 'believe' one can love in silence, at the same time I feel that timely reassurance is what we desire. So its Belief vs Desire..but as a positve thinker, its the belief that always triumphs...(hope it made sense)
There are moments when love is better expressed in silence, a time when it needs to be spoken, and sometimes made explicit in actions whether or not it needs a physical contact. The dumbest of all is love unexpressed... and the sheer knowledge that someone is loved, is enough a reason not to die, if not to live for...
Most of the time, it's the silence which wins however there are times when you need to express it through words(the gift of gab)...However i strongly feel that geographical distance plays a vital role in showing your feeling towards someone. For example- Being in touch with your loved one's over phone, won't give you that pleasure what you can feel being with him/her. So in turn physical contact does matter(which though be critised but can't be ignored)
the power of love.....hmmmmmmmm.... we are sweet to the ones we dont know....and can be nasty to the ones we truly care about....so i personally would club the words of love with a whole load of hugs n kisses ...lolzzzz
sometimes we need more than words... a simple hug sans any words can do a much better job of reassurance than anything... yes distance often denies one of such simple pleasures..and trust me I am very aware of that, but the memory of that brief warm handshake would last you an entire winter...
and yes I agree with Manohar, unexpressed love is sooo sad.
Though if one rememberes Rekha's take for Amitabh Bachchan -- i can love him, because his (omni)presence is enough. Even then Rekha still wouldn't qulaify as just a silent admirer:) Lady you are so beautiful, you make men go weak in their knees merely by your smile!
